How LookAheadWall collects consent for SMS messages
Overview
LookAheadWall is a construction scheduling platform. We send transactional SMS messages only — no marketing or promotional messages. SMS is used for:
Verification codes: One-time 6-digit codes for mobile app login authentication
Project invitations: One-time SMS when a general contractor invites a crew member to the mobile app
How Users Consent to Receive SMS
LookAheadWall collects explicit opt-in consent at every point where a phone number is provided, before any SMS message is sent. There are three consent collection points:
1. Mobile App Login (Verification Codes)
When a user opens the LookAheadWall mobile app and enters their phone number to log in, they see the following consent disclosure before tapping "Continue":

2. Dashboard — Sending App Invites (Behind Login)
When a general contractor sends a mobile app invite to a crew member or superintendent from the LookAheadWall web dashboard, the following consent disclosure is shown below the "Send Invite" button:
